Paul Martin MA(RCA), FSCD

After studying Graphic Design at the Royal College of Art Paul gained experience in a variety of sectors including publishing, museums, toys and games. In 1984 he founded his own design consultancy which grew, over 30 years, to work for a wide variety of local, national, and international clients.

In 2012 Paul stepped back from the day-to-day running of the organisation to set up Paul Martin Studio which takes on both commissioned projects and those of a community ‘pro bono’ nature – providing that there is an interesting problem to solve and he feels that ‘design can make a difference’. It also provides space and facilities for his printmaking activities – a passion for the last 15 years and one which was given a considerable boost by the selection of his print Cove for the prestigious Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.

Paul is a trustee of both The Edward Barnsley Workshop and Petersfield Museum, where he was heavily involved in a £4m expansion and refurbishment project. He is also co-founder and Creative Director of The Iconic Card Company.
