This image was inspired by the graphic work of Dutch artist Maurits Cornelis Escher (1898 – 1972). He created intriguing and enigmatic images that drew inspiration from his studies of nature and mathematics, resulting in ‘impossible’ objects, explorations of infinity, reflection, symmetry and tessellation.
